The Dr. Yakubu Adamu Contact Committee, alongside the entire structure of his political movement groups, has declared its solidarity with Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, amid ongoing political developments and nationwide consultations.
Speaking at a press conference yesterday, Hon. Mahmoud Abba Yana, former Executive Chairman of Shira Local Government Area, addressed party stakeholders and the people of Bauchi State on behalf of the committee and its affiliated groups. He affirmed their support for Governor Mohammed's leadership and his direction in the current wave of political realignments.
"At this critical moment in our political journey, we find it necessary to reaffirm our unwavering loyalty, deep respect, and total solidarity with His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, whose leadership continues to inspire confidence, unity, and purposeful governance across Bauchi State and beyond," Yana stated.
He noted that the governor's commitment to the welfare of citizens, infrastructural development, and inclusive governance has earned him widespread trust and admiration.
The groups described Bala Mohammed as a visionary leader and seasoned statesman, emphasising that his decisions are guided by the overarching goals of peace, progress, and prosperity.
On the issue of ongoing political consultations across the country, the committee made its position clear, declaring that Dr. Yakubu Adamu and all affiliated political movement groups stand firmly with the governor in any decision he chooses to take, including aligning with or joining any political party of his choice.
They stressed that their support remains total, unconditional, and unwavering.
"We strongly believe that wherever His Excellency leads, the path will be one of progress, justice, and development.
"We therefore call on all members, supporters, and the general public to remain united, calm, and supportive as we move in the direction that best serves the interests of Bauchi State and Nigeria at large," he added.
The group described the declaration as a reflection of their shared vision, mutual trust, and collective commitment to building a more prosperous future for all.
