In an effort to strengthen unity among Islamic scholars and followers, Professor Ibraheem Maqari and his delegation paid a visit to the Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H), at his residence in Abuja on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Among the visiting scholars were Sheikh Nura Khalid and other notable clerics.

The visit focused on the need for unity, mutual understanding, and closer relations among scholars from different Islamic backgrounds — with the aim of fostering brotherhood and eliminating divisions within the Muslim community.

According to a report from the Leader’s office, Sheikh Zakzaky (H) warmly welcomed the initiative and commended Professor Maqari and his team for their efforts toward promoting unity and peaceful coexistence among scholars and followers of Islam.

During the meeting, Sheikh Zakzaky emphasized the importance of continuing such dialogues and prayed for success and blessings for all parties committed to fostering unity and mutual understanding.

Professor Maqari’s visit came at a crucial time, as calls for Muslim unity continue to grow worldwide, alongside prayers for the people of Palestine and the martyrs of Islam.
