The Executive Chairman of Sabon Gari Local Government and ALGON Chairman of Kaduna State, Hon. Sheikh Muhammad Jamilu Abubakar Albani Samaru Zaria, paid an on-the-spot assessment visit to the Kwangila Yan Goro area to investigate a matter affecting commercial tricycle (Keke Napep) and motorcycle operators who carry out their daily activities in the area.
The visit followed reports indicating that certain challenges could prevent some of these operators from continuing their daily business activities, a situation that could negatively affect their means of livelihood and the welfare of their families.
During the visit, the Chairman listened to submissions from various stakeholders and carefully assessed the situation to ensure fairness and justice.
After reviewing the matter, he stated that the Sabon Gari Local Government Administration would not support any action that deprives citizens of their right to earn a lawful living.
He reaffirmed the government's commitment to protecting the rights of ordinary citizens and creating a conducive environment that enables them to carry out their businesses peacefully and with dignity.
The Chairman also called on all stakeholders to embrace peace, mutual understanding, and respect for the rule of law in order to sustain harmony and promote community development.
Residents of the area expressed their appreciation for the Chairman’s prompt intervention and commended his concern for the welfare of the people as well as his commitment to ensuring justice and fairness for all.
The visit once again demonstrated the people-oriented leadership and close engagement with the community being championed by the administration of Hon.
Sheikh Muhammad Jamilu Abubakar Albani Samaru Zaria, aimed at protecting the interests of the people and improving their quality of life.
