The Council of Northern Youth Advocate of Nigeria (CNYAN) have past a vote of confidence on the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Barr. Festus Keyamo for his exemplary leadership and reform-driven approach in repositioning Nigeria’s aviation sector.

Council of Northern Youth Advocate of Nigeria (CNYAN) said, since assuming in office, the Minister has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to transparency, accountability, and the modernization of the aviation industry.
The Council said his proactive policies, strategic engagements, and unwavering dedication to improving safety standards, infrastructure, and investor confidence have not gone unnoticed.
According to the Council these efforts are not only restoring public trust but also placing Nigeria firmly on the path of global competitiveness in aviation.
CNYAN also extends its commendation to the Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Capt. Chris Najomo, whose administrative competence and regulatory discipline have strengthened the operational efficiency of the Authority.
"Under his leadership, the NCAA has continued to uphold international best practices, ensuring that safety and compliance remain top priorities in the Nigerian airspace".
The Council also recognized the outstanding contributions of Mr. Michael Achimugu, Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at NCAA, for his exceptional role in enhancing public communication, consumer rights advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.
His responsiveness, transparency, and commitment to protecting the interests of air travelers have significantly improved the relationship between the regulatory body and the Nigerian public.
The Council notes with satisfaction the synergy between the Ministry and its agencies, which has resulted in visible improvements across the sector, including better regulatory oversight, improved passenger experience, and a renewed focus on indigenous capacity development.
"As a youth-focused advocacy body, CNYAN is particularly encouraged by the inclusive policies and opportunities being created for young Nigerians within the aviation and aerospace space".
These initiatives are vital for job creation, skill development, and national economic growth.
In light of these achievements, the Council of Northern Youth Advocate of Nigeria hereby passes a resounding vote of confidence on the leadership of the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development under Barr. Festus Keyamo, as well as the management of the NCAA led by Capt. Chris Najomo, and the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mr. Michael Achimugu.
The Council urged them to sustain the current momentum and remain steadfast in their commitment to excellence, innovation, and service to the Nigerian people.
They reiterated its support for all progressive initiatives aimed at advancing national development and assures the Ministry and its agencies of continued collaboration in promoting youth inclusion and public accountability.
