Mewar International University has welcomed 500 new students this year, all of whom successfully passed various entrance examinations, including special tests conducted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency. This special ceremony highlighted the university’s growing reputation both locally and internationally.
Engr. Abubakar Bello, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), expressed his delight to the new students, saying:
"We are very pleased to welcome you. Your success is the result of your hard work and the support of your parents. This partnership and guidance are extremely important for achieving success."
Similarly, Engr. Samer Khan, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), encouraged the students to take full advantage of the opportunities ahead, stating:
"Your future lies in the hands of those who work today. The world is waiting for your ideas, solutions, and leadership. Be disciplined, visionary, and diligent."
The university has assigned students to different faculties to provide quality education in areas such as Computer Science and Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Biotechnology, Management and Social Sciences, Business and Innovation, International Relations, Mathematics, Political Science, Economics, Banking, Public Administration, and Law.
Engr. Bello assured parents that the university has programs in place to provide a safe and supportive environment that nurtures critical thinking, ensuring students receive both quality education and good moral training.
The student induction ceremony was a special occasion to celebrate the students’ achievements and integrate them into the university community. The event was held at the university’s main auditorium and attended by prominent guests, including traditional rulers and politicians.
While parents offered prayers and blessings for the founders of the university, the event concluded peacefully. This marked the beginning of the new students’ academic journey at Mewar International University.
