Bauchi State Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has felicitated his boss, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on the occasion of his 68th birthday anniversary celebrated on Thursday.
The governor praised Dr. Jonathan's exemplary leadership, exceptional humility, and unwavering dedication to Nigeria's unity, peace, and progress.
He noted that Jonathan's tenure as President was distinguished by deep patriotism, democratic maturity, and statesmanship, qualities that continue to inspire the nation and strengthen its democratic institutions.
In a goodwill message issued by his media aide, Mukhtar Gidado, Governor Mohammed commended Dr. Jonathan's life of service, calm disposition in the face of national challenges, and his lasting contributions to good governance and peacebuilding within Nigeria and across the African continent.
"On behalf of my family, the Government, and the good people of Bauchi State, we heartily felicitate with my boss, His Excellency Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on the occasion of his 68th birthday anniversary," the governor said.
"We join your family, friends, associates, and millions of admirers across the nation and beyond in celebrating you on this special occasion," the governor added.
Governor Mohammed prayed for continued divine blessings upon the former President, saying "As you celebrate another year of God’s grace, we pray for continued wisdom, sound health, and long life for you. May the Almighty grant you many more years of purposeful service to humanity and continue to bless and preserve your family.”
