Rep. Soro Signs N15m MoU For Solar-Powered Water Project In His Constituency

The lawmaker representing Darazo-Ganjuwa federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Mansur Manu Soro, has signed a N15 million Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Darazo-Ganjuwa Water Management Initiative for the development of a solar-powered water project

Speaking at the signing ceremony yesterday, Hon. Soro said the agreement marks the formal commencement of the project in Konkiyel Ward of Darazo-Ganjuwa Federal Constituency. He disclosed that he has already released mobilisation funds to kick-start the work.

According to him, the initiative aligns with his ongoing commitment to ensuring access to clean and safe drinking water for his constituents.

"We shall continue to sacrifice the little we have to provide safe drinking water for our people,Soro said.

“I urge the Konkiyel community to closely monitor the project’s implementation to ensure quality delivery and sustainability," he urged.

Soro added that the project, once completed, is expected to significantly ease the water challenges faced by residents of Konkiyel and surrounding communities.
