Mu’azu Bin Jabal School, Samaru Holds 7th Qur’an Graduation Ceremony

This week, Mu’azu Bin Jabal School located in Hayin Dogo, Samaru, under Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, held its seventh (7th) Qur’an graduation ceremony.
The event, which took place at the Professor Mahadi Hall within the campus of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Samaru, was well-organized and colorful, making it one of the most outstanding and memorable occasions witnessed in the Zazzau Emirate and Kaduna State as a whole.
The highlight of the ceremony was the exceptional performance of a 17-year-old student, Hafiz Bello Sa’eed, who completed the memorization of the entire Holy Qur’an within just one year and twelve months.
Reports indicate that Hafiz Bello hails from Oyo State and will represent Sabon Gari Local Government Area in the upcoming State-level Qur’anic Recitation Competition.
According to the Director of the school, this marks the seventh time the school has organized such a graduation. A total of 80 students completed their studies, out of which 15 successfully memorized the entire Qur’an after undergoing assessments by experts.
During the event, the school honored several distinguished personalities who have contributed to its development, including:
Engr. Bashir Abba (General Manager, Urban Shelter Company Ltd),Alhaji Baba Muhammad, Alaramma Rabi’u Abdullahi Umar (Dangote Refinery), and His Highness, the Prince of Kano, Alhaji Umar Bayaro,
alongside other special guests.
Gifts and prizes were presented to the graduates, while a philanthropist volunteered to construct a new school building free of charge as his contribution to the school’s growth.
During the award presentation, the Prince of Kano, Alhaji Umar Bayaro, crowned Hafiz Bello Sa’eed with the honorary title of “Gwarzon Shekara.”
In his speech, Hafiz Bello expressed gratitude to Allah, his teachers, and his parents for their support, praying that Allah rewards them abundantly with paradise.
Also speaking, the school’s Director Malam Abubakar Abba Dewu, thanked all attendees and benefactors from various places, and urged parents to ensure timely payment of school fees to support their children’s education and the school’s progress.
The ceremony was peaceful, well-coordinated, and concluded successfully.
